WASHINGTON 鈥撯 The Tewaaraton Foundation has announced the second round of additions to the 2018 Tewaaraton Award Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 Watch Lists. The lists include the top players across all three divisions of 草莓网站在线看 lacrosse and highlight the early contenders for this year鈥檚 Tewaaraton Award.

The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse player in the United States. The selection committees are comprised of premier college coaches and are appointed annually by the Tewaaraton Foundation.

Men鈥檚 second round additions included the following: Dylan Gaines (Denver, Jr., defense), Chris Gray (Boston University, Fr., attack), Alex Heger (Robert Morris, Jr., goalie), Jake McCulloch (Cornell, Jr., midfield), Asher Nolting (High Point, Fr., attack) Michael Rexrode (Rutgers, Sr., defense), Ryan Tierney (Hofstra, Soph. attack) and Jack Tigh (Yale, Jr., attack).

On April 26, the field for the 2018 Tewaaraton Award will be narrowed to 25 men鈥檚 and 25 women鈥檚 nominees. Nominees can be players on the watch lists or players not on the watch lists, effectively allowing for a third round of additions. This year鈥檚 initial watch list, announced on March 1, recognized the top 50 men鈥檚 and 50 women鈥檚 candidates for the Tewaaraton Award. On March 22, 18 players were named to the first round of watch list additions.
Five men鈥檚 and five women鈥檚 finalists will be announced on May 10 and invited to The 18th annual Tewaaraton Award Ceremony in Washington, D.C., on May 31.
