😱 LSU advances to Men's College World Series finals
LSU trailed by two runs entering the bottom of the ninth. What happened next left Arkansas heartbroken and stunned.The Tigers scored three runs in the inning to stun the Razorbacks and clinch a spot in the MCWS finals.
LSU capitalized off Arkansas' mistakes to win. First, Derek Curiel gained an extra base off of a throwing error, landing on second. After a walk from Ethan Frey and a fielder's choice, the Tigers faced two outs with runners on first and second. Then Luis Hernandez hit the ball deep into the outfield and it fell of the outfielders glove to bring home the two tying runs.

Jared Jones was up to bat next with a runner in scoring position. Another ball went from the ball and off the glove of the Razorbacks, this time bringing home the winning run.

With the loss, Arkansas is 0-5 all-time in Omaha against LSU.
With the win, LSU will face Coastal Carolina in the Men's College World Series finals beginning June 21. The first to two games will win the title.

Pinch hitter Jake Brown got the Tigers on the board with a two-RBI single to give LSU the lead heading into the seventh inning. The Tigers had a runner on third after Arkansas intentionally walked Josh Pearson, and Brown was caught stealing the next at-bat before Pearson could reach home.
LSU challenged the call, but it was upheld that Brown was out prior to Pearson touching home plate.

🏆 Coastal Carolina punches ticket to MCWS finals
The Chanticleers are dancing into the MCWS finals riding a 26-game win streak after defeating Louisville 11-3. They await either Arkansas or LSU in the finals on Saturday.
Coastal Carolina was powered by a six-run first inning, driving the Louisville starter out of the game before recording an out. Colby Thorndyke tallied his second bases-clearing double of the MCWS, pushing three Chanticleers across in the first frame. Coastal is 4-for-7 with the bases loaded in the MCWS. All other teams combined are 2-for-18 heading into today.
The Cardinal bats were connecting today, but they could not string enough hits together. Louisville only had one fewer hit than the Chanticleers, but it left nine on base, unable to capitalize enough in the big moments.
Riley Eikhoff earned the win on the mound, going 5.1 innings with all three earned runs coming in the sixth.
With Coastal's 56th win today, the 2025 team set the record for most single-season wins in program history, surpassing the 2016 championship team. Two more wins will put the Chanticleers back on top of college baseball.

Colby Thorndyke was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded, becoming the first Coastal Carolina player to record four RBIs in a MCWS game.
