Here are my Power 10 rankings for week two in college volleyball.
1. Nebraska (Prev. 1)
The top three teams actually stay the same for me as last week. Nebraska remains undisputed at the number one spot with two more sweeps against Wright State and Cal, upholding their clean record. Harper Murray's dominance on the court continues with 80 kills on a .345 clip with 52 digs and 12 blocks just six games into the regular season.

2. Texas (Prev. 2)
The Longhorns had one of the best matches I've ever seen against Stanford. They came out looking unbeatable in the first two sets, but they weren't able to maintain that intensity in the third and fourth as Stanford forced the distance. The way Torrey Stafford absolutely refused to lose was insane, and freshmen Cari Spears is already so dominant this early into her collegiate career. Could they have closed the match out earlier? Yes, but I am not going to move them in the rankings for it.

3. Kentucky (Prev. 3)
At No. 3, the Wildcats continued to show their dominance with a win over Penn State in straight sets. Brooklyn DeLeye tallied 18 kills and duo outside Eva Hudson notched 10 on the night. Kentucky tested out a new freshmen setter in Kassie O'Brien in their Happy Valley matchup and played like a veteran in one of the toughest environments in the nation. O'Brien recorded 27 assists and had three kills and two blocks of her own while leading her offense to .349 on hitting.
4. Louisville (Prev. 5)
Louisville moves up into my top four just in time for its top 5 battle against Texas this week. I'm really looking forward to seeing them against a ranked team as they sit at 4-0 against unranked opponents to start the season. The Cardinals picked up a 4-set win over Illinois on Sunday where Payton Peterson posted a career-high 20 kills while each of their middles tallied five blocks each.

5. Texas A&M (prev. 7)
I have Texas A&M sitting at No. 5 right now. The Aggies picked up another ranked win this week with a sweep over No. 21 Utah and I think they look really good. Their depth showed through this past week with four of their heavy hitters recording 10-plus kills in their matchup against Utah State. I'm excited to see the matchup against SMU this week.
6. Pitt (prev. 8)
Pitt moves back up a bit with an impressive win over Arizona State in straight sets, and the Sun Devils already proved that they are a good team. Olivia Babcock wasn't even the kill leader so that's a good sign for more balance offensively as junior Blaire Bayless logged nine kills on the day. Bre Kelley had an impressive showing of her own, posting seven monster blocks, holding ASU to a 051 hitting clip. The Panthers add a top 25 win over TCU to its resume as well, and that's a program that has been upsetting teams left and right.
7. Stanford (prev. 10)
At the No. 7 spot, I have Stanford, which also moves up from my last Power 10 despite the 5-set loss to Texas. That game was winnable for them; they had multiple match points in the 5th set and a lot of errors to clean up in a tough environment. I still give kudos to that young team for battling the way they did in that match. The Cardinal served aggressively no matter what, and I was just impressed overall at how they came back in front of 10,000+ Texas fans.

8. Arizona State (prev. 6)
The Sun Devils are behind Stanford at No. 8 after their loss to Pitt. Keep in mind, they鈥檝e got a date at Texas this Sunday, which will be a great test for this gritty team after they upset No. 2 Penn State two weeks ago.
9. Wisconsin (previous 9)
Wisconsin stays at No. 9 for me. The Badgers logged two sweeps this week, but they were not over any ranked opponents that would warrant a move in the rankings.
10. Florida (previous unranked)
At number 10, enter a feisty Florida team with SMU still right on the verge and Penn State moving out. SMU is undefeated while the Gators are not, but I like the ranked win over Pitt and their performance over Ohio State to give them the edge. This could change next week with SMU playing Texas A&M, Kentucky AND Purdue.

First team out
Penn State: The Nittany Lions were swept by Kentucky at home, but then followed it up with a loss to TCU to knock them out of the top 10 for now. As we all know, there will be plenty of chances to move back in.
